The ride will start in Oswego and follow the Fox River and Virgil Gilman trails to Waubonsie Community College, and back. <br /><br />All bikes welcome on this ride, hybrid, mountain, road, recumbent, any bike that rolls. <br /><br />We will leave from the Village Grind Coffee shop in Downtown Oswego. https://www.villagegrindoswego.com 19 S. Main St., Oswego, IL 60543. Parking is available adjacent to the coffee shop. Meet by the Village Grind at 9:30 AM. The pace of this ride will be leisurely. <br /> <br />After coffee, and maybe a pastry, we will ride a little over thirteen miles on the mostly-shaded Fox River Trail and Virgil Gilman trails to Waubonsie Community College. We will head back to Oswego after our break. There are several spots along the way for breaks. <br /><br />Once back in Oswego, we will visit Oswego Brewery for a well-deserved post-ride reward. The brewery opens at noon and does not serve food so you may want to pack a lunch to enjoy with your beer. The brewery is across the street from where we’ll park so your lunch can be kept in your vehicle. We may be able to order delivery to the brewery.
